Ashwini Baje is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Digital Humanities and Societal Systems at IIIT Bangalore. As an Information Systems scholar, her research examines the digital transformation of agricultural value chains in the Global South and their sustainability outcomes, such as smallholder inclusion, income enhancement, and reduced environmental impact. She is also interested in questions explored within third-wave Human–Computer Interaction, particularly the impact of digital technologies on intangible cultural heritage. Her work employs qualitative interpretive methods. Before joining academia, she worked as a Business Analyst at IBM India and as a Research Associate at IIM Bangalore.
